oh you muslims and your need to convert the whole world, you're all as bad as christians lol:SMILY335:

I have no desire to convert to Islam, but i do have a desire to learn about it. Despite the fact I get a bit confused with a lot of it lol

:salam2:
We don't have any NEED to convert anyone to Islam. If Allah (SWT) wanted He could have made everyone on earth a Muslim, but He want to test us to see if we can use the brain He has given us to find Him. So again, we have no NEED to convert anyone.

But we are required to convey the message to everyone. Because after all we are all humans and we should help each others to protect each other from hell fire.

Satan is a creation of Allah and he has no power except to whisper in our hearts and to misguide us.

On the Day of Judgment this jinn called satan will be standing in line with all others and will be answering about his deeds to Allah (SWT).

Allah is the creator of every thing that exists, and he is the only diety worthy of our worship.

Back to the topic...

Women can't necessarily help what they do and don't find attractive. I will admit that in general (there are exceptions), I don't find a long beard attractive and prefer shorter beards. I'm not ashamed to admit this as I can't force myself to like long beards.

However, I would never ask my husband or any man to cut his beard just because I didn't like it. It really is such a minor thing and it can be easy to overlook a long beard. If a man feels it is best for him to grow it long then he should do so, and no one has the right to tell him to cut it, even if his wife dislikes it.

Yeah! sounds about right lol. Especilly 6. And since there is a verse that says that there is no compulsion in islam ( regarding relgion) then there should be no issue that i'm not a follower of your religon.

"There is no compulsion in Religion. Truly, truth stands out clear from error."

You missed out the last part of the verse.

Now, I know I may not be adding anything really productive to the conversation at hand so, pardon my ignorance, but I'm not 100% sure what a sunnah beard is. Is this where the beard is kept at fist length and the mustache is kept short? I remember reading in one of my books that people asked someone how long the beard should be kept (forgive me for not knowing the actual place I read it in) but the person who answered said he grabbed his beard with a fist and cut what was left over, is this what is being talked about?
