Global Effort Towards Khilafah

HT have some skill in video making, organising massive conferences and protesting, not to mention some awesome vocal cords on their side, mashaAllaah!

It escapes me now as to who, but one of the `Ulemaa said the very people who are screaming for Khilafah in this age are most likely to be the first to recieve the hadd if/when it came about, just something to think about.

I was invited to a sisters convention recently, the organisers didn't mention it was a HT event, so I went along with a few other sisters, only to be bombarded with HT material left right and center, the speech consisted of a sister yelling at the audience about various HT style topics ..for goodness sakes there were children present, and you're talking about torture methods of Bashar al-Assad?

Then there was a presentation on the situation in Syria and Libya with Ahadeeth and Ayaat with clear music playing in the background - I found this particularly insulting.

The sister who invited me had the decency to text me afterwards apologising for any offence it may have caused me, in all honesty I would have just appreciated more transparency about the nature of the event, rather than being told it was merely a 'sisterhood conference'. It's a basic necessity to pitch it correctly, the sisters could have left their children at home had they known the precise contents of the dicussion, had they still wanted to be part of it, that is. What annoys me is that I know it was purposefully planned and executed in this manner to get maximum turnout, why trick people into turning up to a HT event? Pathetic.

That should be shown to the custodian of the two holy mosques and to the people who call you innovator if you don't agree with them.

Brother, I will not show the King's picture to everyone when he was sinning himself just because he called me innovator. End of the day, it does not matter what he says but what the Prophet said.

Assalaam alaikum,

Ok.. help me out brothers.

Let's start at the basics. What is the most fundamental reason we need the khilafah. When Islam started to spread the decisions to see who would spearhead were simple.

We have a million nations. We have sectarian interests. We have the " This is my Islam" and I practice better than you.

In the interest of the discussion; so many can follow and gain knowledge..let's get some basic issues covered first.

Very simple, everyone must go back to Qur'an and Sunnah. Don't wait for your neighbour to do so first let start with you and your family. Never mind some ppl will call you with certain names for following Quran and Sunnah. Follow the Salafs best you can.

The Prophet, saaws, said: "I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].

"The best of people is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them (i.e. the first three generations of Muslims)." [Reported by Bukhari and Muslim- Mutawaatir. Muslim, Narrated 'Aisha - Shaykh Al Albaanee declares it Hasan in Saheeh Al Jaami' no.3288].

"The best of people are my generation, then the second, then the third, then there will come a people, having no good in them." [[related by Ibn Mas'ood] [Tabaraanee in Al-Kabeer] Shaykh Al Albaanee declares it to be Hasan. See Silsilatul Ahaadeeth ad-Da'eefah no.3569, and Saheeh Al Jaami' no. 3293.]

"My Ummah will not unite upon error." [Reported by at-Tirmidhee and Haakim - Sahih]

The best of people are my generation, then those who follow after them, then those who follow after them, then there will come after them a people who will be fat, and they will love obesity, bearing witness before being asked to."[related by the Umars, sons of Husayn(r)] [Tirmidthee, authenticated by Imaam Al Haakim] Shaykh Al Albaanee declares it to be Saheeh. See Silsilatul Ahaadeeth As-Saheehah no. 699, and Saheeh Al Jaami' no. 3294.

What an amazing hadith, Allah knows best if it is correctly translated. Today many Muslims who are religious seem to be fat, wearing thawb and have long beard, but yet fat, but this isnt the Sunnah, the companions of the Prophet :saw: were not fat, rather they were skinny, so this hadith is amazing.

Assalaam alaikum,

Now. We do not have evidence to say this. Please. In descriptions of the Prophet, swas, he was described as robust. That is not skinny. So lets not go there.

Wa alaykum salam

I said the COMPANIONS of the Prophet :saw: and not the Prophet himself! I wasnt speaking about ALL companions, just generally they were not fat.

Umar ibn al-Khattab (radhiallahu `anhu):

“O people! Beware of obesity caused by food because that will surely make one lazy from performing prayers and it is harmful to one’s body, and truly, Allah dislikes the obese man. Rather, you should observe modesty (and intent) with regards to your provisions and food, as that is closer to piety, far from excessiveness and strengthens one in worshipping Allah `azza wa jall. And a slave will not fall into destruction until his desires become dearer to him than his religion.”

Assalaam alaikum,

There is no indication that obesity makes one not perform prayer.

This is about greed and not obesity.

Now, we have a brother who knows that all the Companions of the Prophet were skinny. He has absolute belief. That a person's physical attribute defines his spirituality. All obese people are not spiritual. He has physical descriptions of all the Companions of the Prophet.

Can we get serious now.

Not all the wives of the Prophet, swas, were skinny. Or can women be obese and spiritual but not men?

And much of the food that we consume today is poisoned by genetic engineering.

What are you saying?

Just touching on the obese people, its really unfair to singler them out as i know atleast 15 large people due to diabetes which was inherited not down to food excessiveness.

Back on topic establishing the islamic state,im trying to implement it on my household and myself and close freinds and Alhumdulilaah the results have been very posotive and welcomed by all concerned.

I started by asking all to question thier relationship with Allah Swt,then i asked them to slowly offer salat, now my household is conforming to the Ways of the Prophet (PBUH) by asking Allah alone for thier needs, removing Taweezs from nacks and above doors and walls, dropping acts liek special prayers for thursday when the dead supposedly come for dinner..lol..Khatams and all that.

Wisper is slowly but behind closed doors im almost living in an islamic state.

My freinds understand my position,we debate they understand the reasons for change and implement it on themselves and families and Inshallallah my Islamic state will spread from neighbourhood to neighbourhood.

Birmingham city is as close to an islamic state in parts in the western world.

Assalaam alaikum,

Son,

I expect this from you. You are sitting behind a computer screen. I pray your mother is proud of you. I hope you have the courage to show her this response. I know you will not. It makes you a coward.

You can not come back with a common sense answer so you call me names:

( You are slow! Didn't I wrote this before??: "I wasnt speaking about ALL companions, just generally they were not fat". Change glasses!)

This is what he wrote on my reputation. At least make sure when you attack someone not to make grammatical mistakes.

Back to the topic..we can see that we need define the masculine qualities of a Believer, not physical qualities.

Brother John,

How do we make the masjids in our communities aware of a greater good?

May Allah guide you! My mother knows what I do behind the screen, not everything though. You do not know my mum, you are older than my mum but yet she doesnt know what a forum is! Do not accuse me of calling ALL the sahabas skinny. You probably do not know who Abdullah ibn Mas'ud was, and use the language card like some people do, English is not my first language, nor is it my 2nd language.

Assalaam alaikum,

I apologize.

What can our masjids do to help educate the congregation on the need for a more uniform Islamic world. How do we get the imams to deliver the same message across the Islamic world.

And the HT stuff: it is going to take me a couple of days to read up on the history of the HT. I understand that it started in the 1950's. It is popular in the UK and the Far East.

Brother Idris..why don't you post the history so we can all be on the same page.

QUOTE]

Simple answer would be Tawheed & not secterian divisions.

As long as we know our relationship with our creator and the Message of the Sunnah then all other matters should be left to Allah Swt to judge us on judgement day.

As a Sunni muslim it will be more hard for me to convince a Shia than a non Muslim on islam,as long as there is clear distiction in the message about the oneness of Allah then we should leave it at that, rest will follow in accordance.

Thats the message.

Assalaam alaikum,

That is the big picture.

We have to fill in the pieces of the puzzle. How do we create in our little neighborhoods community activism. I am not necessarily describing political activism. How do we meet the needs of our communities. How do we engage people back to understanding the fundamental role of the masjid in a singular community. Some of us make salat at the masjid and that is it. Yet, we do not recognize the ills of the duyna upon our communities and we ignore them. We have isolated programs that do little good and fall on deaf ears.

Am I making myself clear?

( am meeting with an imam in 45 minutes. Took three weeks to get appointment...three weeks...told them I would be dead before they find a time slot for me)
